The following document, along with our privacy policy, our website terms of use and all information relating to your chosen tour/camp package contained in our website (https://nevis-travel.com) form the basis of your contract with nevistravel. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations with regards to any tour/camp offered by our company and booked by you.

1. your holiday.

individual booking procedure.

Select your preferred tour/camp on the website www.nevis-travel.com and fill in the required payment details when prompted. An initial deposit of 30% is mandatory during the reservation process. This initial payment may be refundable. For more details, please refer to Sections 3 – 8 of our terms and conditions.

Upon successfully completing your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. When you initiate a reservation, a contractual agreement is established between you and nevistravel. This implies an obligation on your part to clear the outstanding balance as stated in the acknowledgment and payment terms. It is imperative that these payments are settled by the specified due dates, as failing to do so empowers us to revoke your booking and withhold your initial deposit. Following the inception of our contract, our staff will reach out with a detailed information form for you to complete, and to provide answers to any additional queries you may have.

If applicable, you will receive an email requesting payment of the outstanding balance due no later than 60 days before the start of your tour/camp.

dates & schedule.

The trip or camp dates and schedule are described on the dedicated product page on the website www.nevis-travel.com. We reserve the right to modify the schedule to adapt to unexpected local conditions such as road works, weather or events. Schedule modifications do not entitle you to cancel your trip.

Should we be obliged to modify the dates for any unforeseen reason, we will notify you immediately with the option to cancel or reschedule your holiday. Please refer to section Significant Contractual Changes for details of your rights.

accommodation / itinerary.

Every care has been taken to plan the routes and accommodation. However, local conditions such as road works, unforeseen hotel closures, weather or events may require us to change the routes/schedules at short notice. In addition, the condition and/or wishes of the participants may lead to an alteration of the routes. We reserve the right to alter the routes or accommodation as required.

Our point-to-point tours have a set itinerary. However, some stages have shorter or longer alternatives. The group will be informed of and offered the alternative routes before starting the day. Generally speaking, the alternative route will only be taken if the whole group agrees to it. For your safety, we will not split the group unless the decision is explicitly taken by the guides. Depending on varying riding speeds and fitness levels of participants, our guides may decide to split the group even over the initial route. For our triathlon camps, while there will be a clear training plan and set routes each day, distances may be adapted to meet the skill sets/abilities of the group. Guides may also offer alternatives based on the skill sets/abilities of the individual, providing it is safe to do so.

special requests.

The tour/camp is a group holiday and the wishes of all participants will be considered by us on an equal basis. If you have any special requests or requirements, please inform us by e-mail or in the information form you will be sent after your initial booking. We will do our very best to accommodate any special requests but cannot make any guarantees.

We will do our very best to accommodate any particular dietary requirements, however these need to be clearly stated on the aforementioned information form.

group bookings.

In the event of group reservations, the individual initially requesting the reservation is designated as the Team Captain. This person agrees to our Terms & Conditions on behalf of the entire party. Invoices and information forms are directed solely to the Team Captain. In order to streamline communication, any queries or concerns pertaining to the tour from group members should be communicated to us exclusively by the Team Captain.

Group payments may be submitted via bank transfer rather than via the secure website portal, according to agreement with nevistravel. Payment schedules are the same as those valid for individual bookings.

This equipment is at your disposal on a test basis and new models can be purchased during or after your holiday at preferential prices defined by nevistravel. and clearly communicated. Items may be in stock or ordered and sent directly to you.

(g)     activities.

The tour may include extra activities outside of sporting activities such as wine tasting, technical workshops, cultural visits etc. Any entries or products linked to these activities are included in the tour price. These activities are not compulsory; please inform the team should you not wish to take part.

If stated in the trip description on our website, your tour or camp includes a recovery sports massage. This will be organised according to availability at our overnight locations and depending on the daily route and activities. The massage duration is 30-45’ and carried out by a trained professional.

Refer to Section 8.02 Premature Termination for details on your rights to a refund and compensation.

Swimming activities can take place in open-water should we judge the conditions to be safe. As with running and cycling, you are swimming at your own risk

The guides will wait for you if you have to stop at a junction because of traffic conditions, or if you want to take your time in traffic or during running or swimming sessions. There will be no pressure to swim, ride or run beyond your capabilities.

You are responsible for your safety at all times during the tour/camp. You are obliged to inform the guides if you do not feel confident or feel under pressure to perform beyond what you consider safe.

alcohol and recreational drugs.

The consumption of alcohol or recreational drugs while participating in any sporting activity is forbidden. Swimming, riding or running under the influence of either alcohol or drugs is equally forbidden. Please ensure that alcohol consumption/recreational drug taking in the evening will not impair your sporting ability the next day.
