Welcome to Andalusia! Our team will greet you at the agreed pick-up point and transfer you to our first hotel. Meet your fellow riders and guides, let us help you set up your bike and enjoy a gourmet dinner followed by a comprehensive briefing to get the adventure started!
96km - 1500m ascent.
Today’s first ride wakes your legs up slowly but surely, taking you off the coast into undulating hills punctuated by the charming white villages of Casares and Gaucin. A well-deserved coffee stop precedes a breathtaking descent and a cruise through the fields before the final picturesque climb to the Castillo de Castellar.
126km - 1350m ascent.
Today’s undulating route meanders through Mediterranean forest and agricultural land on quiet, at times tiny roads, taking in several water reservoirs including the large Embalse de Barbate and Embalse de Guadalcacín. The routes also dives in and back out of the dense Alcornocales National Park, the biggest cork production area in the country. The prettily-named white village of Alcalá de los Gazules in the perfect place for a coffee stop, before we end the day in the cliff-top town of Arcos de la Frontera.
82km - 1900m ascent.
The are a few less miles on today’s route, yet the challenge is real as we turn our wheels towards the hills. Undulating roads take us away from the fields and into woodland, warming the legs for the big challenge of the day: the spectacular Puerto de las Palomas pass from Zahara de la Sierra. Worry not, once it is conquered all that remains is a winding descent into the mountain town of Grazalema.
90km - 1100m ascent.
This slightly easier stage provides your legs a chance to take a breather, leading you off the mountain and through the countryside with the chance to discover the cave town of Setenil and the beautiful winding roads around and across the Guadalhorce reservoirs. The day ends in pine-wooded tranquillity, with the opportunity to take a wander along the famed Camino del Rey and its suspended walkways.
65km - 1300m ascent.
We set off early today, following quiet roads westward towards one of the most famous cities in Andalusia. Forest gives way to olive groves, the legs are tested on the gradually rising and falling hills. The spectacular Puerto del Viento is quickly tamed and we pedal on to the stunning town of Ronda, where Moorish and medieval architecture meet above magnificent stone cliffs. A longer option is available should your legs demand more.
85km - 1700m ascent.
Gear up for the final day on the bike as we take on one last challenge: the Peñas Blancas pass, the monument of the Sierre Bermeja National Park. This ultimate test for the legs will be rewarded with awe-inspiring views and a sense of accomplishment as we enjoy the final exhilarating descent back into Estepona, finishing strong with the glittering Mediterranean welcoming us back after a challenging week on the bike. We cap things off with a celebratory dinner in the heart of the old town, a fitting farewell to an unforgettable adventure.

Having spent the last few winters in the region, your guides Emma and Guilhem have fallen in love with the area and have meticulously curated this route with the help of local cyclists Antonio and Abraham to showcase the very best of Andalusia. A support vehicle and mechanic will be present daily to transport luggage, provide refreshments and assist with any bike-related issues so you can focus entirely on the ride and savour every moment of your Andalusian adventure.
