Arrival, welcome & bike set-up.

Welcome to the Pyrenees! Nestled just an hour from Toulouse, the tiny village of Malvezie sets the tone for this unique cycling tour. Meet your fellow riders and guides, take a very short spin to test your bike and enjoy a hearty dinner to fuel up for the coming road cycling holiday.

A cyclist riding uphill on a winding mountain road with breathtaking views, capturing the essence of adventurous and rewarding cycling holidays in nature.

55km – 1200m ascent.

Today’s first ride is a “gentle” introduction to the week as we warm up the legs on quiet country roads before heading up the valley to Bagnères-de-Luchon and the first test of the week: the mighty Col de Peyresourde. Hair-rising views and crêpes await at the top before a fast spin down to the pretty town of Loudenvielle.

A winding mountain road surrounded by lush autumn foliage, offering a tranquil and scenic route for unforgettable cycling holidays.

102km – 2200m ascent.

Things start getting serious today as we roll out of Loudenvieille towards the picturesque Hourquette d’Ancizan – the appetiser before tackling the iconic Tourmalet, quite possibly the most famous ascent of the Pyrenees. Spa and dinner await to reward you for your efforts.

A cyclist climbing a quiet mountain road surrounded by rolling hills and grazing sheep, showcasing the challenges and beauty of cycling holidays in the countryside.

80km – 2600m ascent.

Another big yet spectacular climbing day awaits with the Col du Soulor and Col d’Aubisque, before the slopes of El Portalet, surrounded by rocky peaks, take us over the border into Spain. A flatter option without the first two passes is available should you prefer a more relaxed cycling route.

A scenic autumn view of a flowing river, lush forests, and towering cliffs in the Pyrenees, highlighting the stunning routes available for Pyrenees cycling enthusiasts.

60km – 400m ascent.

The shorter stage provides your legs a chance to take a breather. Enjoy the picturesque landscape as we spin down the Tena valley and take the backroads to the fortified town of Jaca.

Close-up of two cyclists in matching blue cycling gear, wearing helmets and sunglasses, riding through a lush green forest, highlighting their focus and teamwork on a scenic mountain route.

102km – 1400m ascent.

True wilderness awaits today. Far from the Tour de France passes, discover a different face of the Pyrenees as we wind along tiny valley roads, where the world fades away and it’s just you, the bike and the immensity of nature. A delicious local dinner with fresh local produce await in the mountain village of Ochagavia.

A cyclist in a white jersey stretching with scenic mountains in the background, illustrating the physical and mental benefits of cycling in beautiful outdoor settings.

85km – 1200m ascent.

Gear up for the final day on the bike as we take on one last challenge: the Puerto de Larrau on our way back to France. Here again, cars are scarce and the landscape is simply stunning. With the final difficulty behind us, we cruise down through the French countryside for a last well-deserved gourmet dinner.

A glass of white wine and a bowl of fresh raspberries on a table by an elegant room, showcasing a serene moment during a cycling retreat focused on relaxation and comfort.

Goodbyes & departure.

After a final hearty breakfast, reflect on your accomplishments over the past few days. Our team will assist you with transfers to Toulouse airport or any further travel arrangements you may need.
