Welcome to Switzerland! Upon arrival, we’ll greet you at Zurich airport and transfer you to our premium accommodation on the shores of the lake. Meet your fellow riders and guides, let us help you set up your bike and enjoy a gourmet dinner to fuel up for the coming rides.
95km - 1200m ascent.
A flat start allows us to wake the legs up before tackling the beautiful, car-free road up the secret Pragelpass. Prepare to be amazed by the remoteness and sheer rock cliff above the Klontalersee. We are rewarded by a decent towards the very heart of Switzerland and the shimmering surface of Lake Lucerne.
80km - 1450m ascent.
After an easy warm-up along the lakeside, we turn off into the countryside and follow tiny roads through the Emmental – home to the famous cheese – on route to tackling the scenic Glaubenberg pass. You will be rewarded for your efforts with a night atop Mt Pilatus, with stunning panoramic views.
60km - 2000m ascent.
We leave the lakes behind and pedal through Sherlock Holmes’ Meiringen before heading up one of the most famous climbs in the Swiss alps : the Grosse Scheidegg pass. Closed to cars, this ribbon of tarmac takes you through quiet pastures right under the famous North Face of the Eiger, and over into Grindelwald where a an evening feast awaits.
55km - 400m ascent.
This easier stage provides your legs a chance to take a breather. Enjoy the picturesque landscape and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the route. We have several options depending on how long and far you wish to ride, before enjoying a lakeside dinner in Spiez.
127km - 2200m ascent.
Today’s queen stage takes us through the undulating countryside of the Gantrisch natural park and over the little-known yet stunning Gurnigel and Mittelberg passes on our way to famous Gstaad. Prepare to test your legs but don’t forget to look around at the every-changing landscape.
85km - 1700m ascent.
Gear up for the final day on the bike as we take on one last challenge. We head up and over the Pillon pass, crossing into French-speaking Switzerland and down to the Rhone Valley. After a coffee stop at the UCI headquarters, we cruise down the valley before one last climb to picturesque Champex and al fresco dining in a luxury boutique hotel. A fitting farewell to an unforgettable adventure.

After a final hearty breakfast in the mountains, reflect on your accomplishments over the past few days. Our team will assist you with a transfer to either Geneva airport or Lausanne train station, where you can catch a direct train back to Zurich airport. We are also happy to help with any further travel arrangements you may need.
This road cycling tour fuses iconic Swiss landmarks like Lucerne and Grindelwald with lesser-known treasures. Cycle from breath-taking lakeside towns to mountain settlements, through plush green fields grazed by classic Swiss cows and tackle some challenging climbs with views of magnificent peaks such as the Eiger.
This small country offers some big cycling challenges, and we cannot deny there will be some spectacular climbs to tackle during this Swiss cycling tour. Yet worry not, your legs soon find a rhythm and with the correct gearing and fuelling, nothing will stop you enjoying the views from the top and the satisfaction of achievement.
This trip has been lovingly curated by Swiss-born Emma and her squad, who have trained on these roads for years. A support vehicle and mechanic will be with you every day to transport luggage, provide fuel and make sure everything rolls as smoothly as Swiss tarmac.
